Abaco National Parks • The Protected Areas
In the words of The Bahamas National Trust, “National parks are the defenders of the environment. They are special areas that have been set aside to ensure that the natural beauty and richness of The Bahamas remain for the enjoyment and benefit of future generations. People of long ago, who lived in and visited The Bahamas, breathed quality air, ate quality food, and were awed by the richness of the scenery. You deserve the same experiences they had. Your children deserve it too. National parks stand as the guardian of this legacy, and we stand as a guardian for them”. We have compiled a list of all the national parks within in the Abacos, for a complete list of the 32 (and counting) national parks of The Bahamas, click HERE.
