Treasure Cay
Treasure Cay is historically famous for Carleton Point where the first Loyalists landed in the late 1700s. Since then it has become known around the world for its crescent-shaped, 3.5-mile long, white powder sandy beach. Treasure Cay has an abundance of property types to meet anyone’s style or budget: beach villas; cottages or condominiums; luxury homes; and canal or golf course lots. All benefit from the Treasure Cay peninsula’s particular eco-climate – beaches and Atlantic breezes on the north side, mangrove flats, and creeks on the south side. Walking & socializing on the beach; playing beach volleyball at the Coco Bar; sampling the gourmet nibbles at ‘Miami Beach’ style Treasure Sands; bonefishing/kayaking in Sandbank Creek; taking a ferry ride to nearby Green Turtle Cay; renting a boat to go deep sea fishing or beachcombing/snorkeling around the nearby cays. Treasure Cay offers a palette to suit any taste or mood. Visitors and residents are literally spoilt for choice when it comes to half-day and full-day trips. Whether by ferry, boat charter, a tour van, or car, adventures abound for the naturalist, the cultural enthusiast, the fisherman, or simply those who take delight in cultivating the art of relaxation! Until you have watched the sun greet the moon on Treasure Cay beach, the sun’s rays outlining a brigade of cumulus on the horizon with coral firefly light, you have not lived!
